Druid Blogging Brings The Wood

I can be a bit obsessive. When I have the chance, I do browse the referrer logs for this blog, and of late I've been noticing a small, but steady, stream of traffic coming my way from a new (to me) Druid blog: Bringin' the Wood.

Jive, the blogging tree in question, exists at a whole other level of raiding from me. We're 1/6 in Zul'Aman on the non-timed runs. They're pushing for bear-n-the-chests from the timed runs. I don't have any T4 yet, Jive is T6ing.

So, for a glimpse of a shiny, distant world I shall never see, I find myself Bringin' the Wood.

Lonetree's Blood For Life

Busy, busy, busy today, preparing for our first, and likely very brief, visit to Gruul's Lair tomorrow. (We only have 20 people signed up - so it's more likely to be a tourist trip, than a boss-killing one).

However, I would like to pause to welcome Blood For Life to the druid blogging world. Lonetree is a Tauren druid who is class lead for his guild. Mind you, he clearly has confused loyalties. His third post is about his warlock…

Down at the Druid Disco…

Maybe it was the happy news from the PTR. Maybe its the fact that it's the weekend. Hey, maybe it just the fact that druids have rhythm in their bones. Whatever the reason, there's been a sudden outbreak of musicality amongst my fellow druids.

The Big Bear Butt Blogger (or B4, as we like to know him) kicked off with "Wreath of Fire", from Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire"

Bell came next with the lyrics to "Feralicious", a Canarion-enhanced version of "Fergalicious".

And then Too Many Annas (none of whom are actually a druid), joined in with "I Won't Survive", based on that classic "I've just been dumped so I've hit the bars and the booze and now I'm belting it out at the top of my lungs" number "I Will Survive".

Party on!

New to the Blogroll: HoTsTree

It's nice to spot a new blog right at the start of its life, and a quick peek into my referrer logs lead me to the new-born Resto Blog, HoTsTree. Aertimus only started WoW blogging on Friday, with a quick introduction post.

However, in the wee, small hours of this morning, she posted something really interesting about doing post-Curator Karazhan with only two healers. We had a somewhat disastrous attempt to do the same thing earlier in the week, and her post give me some hope that, with the right gear and tactics, we may be able to manage it in the future, despite being perennially short of healers in the guild.

Oh, and she has the best tag line of any druid blog ever: "Don't you wish your girlfriend had HoTs like me?"
