Making the World of Warcraft more trivial, one post at a time…

The observant may have noticed a trend in recent posts: grabs from 40+ areas of Azeroth, and then more from Outland. What could be happening?

The truth is that poor Leafy has been neglected. Ularia my baby space goat pallie (introduced waaaay back here) has been my focus for the last fortnight or so. Heirloomed up, and with the new post-4.01 playstyle, I've been having an absolute blast with here in the lull before Cataclysm. The levels have been just flying by, as she has become only my second toon to pass through the Dark Portal the hard way – from level 1 onwards. (The DK doesn't count). She's past 60 now, and powering towards 68 and Northrend. 80 before Cata? Maybe…

Here's a series of "auto-grabbed" screenies of the 10 dings that took her to the portal…

  • Ah, I wish I’d caught a few dings on my toons. Nice to see these. Makes me ‘sorta’ nostalgic for leveling…. =)

  • this autograbbing you speak of.. I am intrigued.
I have an alt all setup to level from scratch, (my fourth to 80, but the other two are still pretty much unplayed non-RP alts).

It might be fun to chronicle the Dings this way. I’m guessing it’s an add-on, so off to Curse I go!

Maebius, I recommend Multishot for the purpose.

Adam, I’m interested by this post because I’ve been having exactly the same kind of experience. I love my hunter, as I hope my LJ posts show, but after getting her Loremaster achievement, I found myself simply not really interested in the usual grind of random heroics and all. So I worked one brand new priest and one who’d stalled out long ago at 20-something up to 60, and am rolling on with the one I found more enjoyable. First flying carpet ever for me, this evening. 🙂

  • It is an add-on, and it’s called Multishot, as Bruce notes below. It’s pretty much “fire and forget”, which is cool, until your screenshots folder starts filling up your disk…
